Helping visulise an outstanding 18 hole golf course
Located on the outskirts of Hertford, Hertfordshire, Brickendon Grange Golf Club boasts a beautiful 6483 yard, par 71, 18 hole course and extensive clubhouse set within 160 acres of mature countryside.
We wanted to offer new players (and existing members) the opportunity to view and explore each hole on the course, not only as an aerial drone video, but also as 3D ‘subject separated’ visuals where individual tee box, fairway and green are highlighted in colour so they clearly stand out from its surroundings and neighbouring holes.

Quantity
With 18 holes and a clubhouse to film, over 3 hours of footage was required to complete all 19 3D scans. At Avisionary we have sufficient equipment to guarantee all filming was completed within a day.
Challenges
Subject Separation
With a majority of holes on a golf course being relatively straight, 3D ‘subject separation’ is more straightforward.
However, some holes are designed with more angular or irregularly shaped fairways but this does not cause any problems for the ‘subject separation’ process and can still guarantee accuracy and does not incur any additional costs.

Included within Brickedon’s package, we drone filmed each hole to provide a cinematic 360 degree loop video, perfect for website and social media content.
Filming in late Autumn, and combined with our many years experience of colour grading, the rich greens and orange highlights of the Brickendon course made the final footage pop and stand out.
The 360 loop videos, which are included in all packages, are an excellent video asset to use to easily show the entire subject and are designed to be viewed with seamless replayability.
