Three Dimensional subject colour separation
With our advanced and unique subject separation methods, we are able to ‘colour isolate’ desired areas within a 3D space. By retaining selected areas in full colour and modifying the remaining surrounds to black and white (or any colour shade you desire), viewers will be able to see easily which area or subject you are choosing to highlight.
No matter the shape, size or height, isolating your subject is an effective way to keep the focus on a specific area within your scan, and can be a crucial element when subjects are surrounded by similar landscape or found in busy areas.

For your customers, by simply clicking and dragging with your mouse on a computer/laptop or swiping with you finger on mobile devices, they can completely explore 3D scans from any location, see subjects and areas from every angle which gives users a more lifelike experience than with 2D videos or photos.
The ability to explore within this medium gives a much better perception of size and scale of a subject.
Additionally users can scroll or pinch to scale in / out allowing them to see close up fine details or wider perspectives of the surrounding areas.
High Details, Low File Sizes
With the new technology of gaussian splatting we are able to create extremely highly detailed 3D scans whilst eliminating unnecessary features that older 3D scanning methods would previously include.
Past 3D scanning techniques which have been previously used (such as Photogrammetry or Lidar) had significant downsides when embedding on websites. Accuracy imperfections, low detail for complex subjects such as trees, and extremely large file sizes preventing them from being viewed on the web efficiently.
Gaussian Splatting is now an ideal method for 3D web embedding. Unlike Photogrammetry and Lidar Scanning, Gaussian Splatting does not create ‘polygon based’ 3D scans which is completely unnecessary for web viewing, but instead creates an array of millions of projections which all combine to create an illusion of a 3D model. These projections can scale dramatically in size which allows for extremely fine details in complicated subjects.
With this method file sizes are greatly reduced making them ideal for website loading times. Older scanning methods can be as large as 500Mb - 1Gb which would be impossible to use for website embedding. However, with the advanced technology of Gaussian Splatting the same scans would be as low as 30Mb which, on average, a modern device would be able to load in under 2 seconds based on the typical UK internet speed.
